"Families, Fathers & Friends is a charity that provides specialised counselling, mediation, information, advice, support and educational workshops to individuals, couples and families so children do not lose out on the love and care of both parents in the event of family breakdown".

We provide an accessible and affordable high quality service to address other issues such as low self esteem, personal development, anxiety, anger, depression, marriage and relationship breakdown and suicide.

In an advisory capacity we inform clients of their rights and responsibilities with regards family law, social policy and its applications. This includes issues of child access, custody, legal guardianship, child and spousal maintenance. We believe mothers and fathers should have an equal standing in law and all aspects of every day life.

Families, Fathers & Friends is staffed by a small, qualified, dedicated team of counsellors, mediators, trainee barristers, law graduates and researchers who provide support, intervention and referrals to specialised health and social services where necessary.

Our counsellors possess a minimum of B.A. (level 7) in Counselling and Psychometric Testing (Hetac accredited) qualification and accredited by the 'Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland'.
